There is nothing wrong to focus on earn more Money.

Before you are going to take a cyber security class or start working for security certifications like Ethical Hacking C-EH, CompTIA Secuirty+, OSCP or CISSP etc.

Also don’t get confused about people doing patch management or configuring routers and firewall claiming Cyber Security guy, which is not Cyber Security job at all.

The Ideal Goal of Cyber Security is to Protect your Company, Individuals and Network as well your Entity Confidential Data from Digital ATTACKS

Before we planning to enter into cyber security career world , just to let you know, it’s not single path it is diverse process of technology and people again to protect your organisation. 

Which is similar to built a House, that’s need involved with Electrician,Carpenter, Plumbing, Roofing and fences makers, In cyberSecurity there are diverse process to protect from digital attacks.

There is not such things that Entry Level jobs in Cyber Security. Because there is no right answer  

Prerequisite of Cyber Security

• You need to have a background experience in IT field. 
• Knowledge on How systems are connected and communicating in IT World. 
• Getting know about Linux and some scripting languages. 
• System Administration and Network management Knowledge.

Again this job titles may change on company wise or current market name standard, you will find in LinkedIn, Indeed and many more job searching portal requirement of cyber security jobs like SOC operator, Cyber Security Analyst, Cyber Security Engineers and if you look at the description of required skills stats Know how to config firewall, IPS/IDS, SIEM, Patch management knowledge Cloud management knowledge.
